I believe that unconditional positive regard is essential for each client to feel comfortable in my treatment space. I am a nurturer and I am most satisfied when helping others. I look forward to each session and educating my clients on the benefits of massage as they discover what works for them.
The Body Therapy Institute is where I pursued my passion for massage. I graduated from BTI in 2011. BTI is one of the only COMPTA accredited schools in North Carolina. I am a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in the state of North Carolina. (NC LMBT #11759) I am certified in Medical Massage and Reflexology. Currently, I am continuing my education to obtain certification in Neural Reset Therapy. I am also a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Prior to finding my passion for massage, I wore many different hats. All of which held a common element. Helping others. I attended Meredith College and I hold a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Studio Art. I was raised on a farm and believe in the character growth that comes from the working lifestyle of a farm family. I find that the toughest life challenges often offer the greatest potential for growth.
I have been blessed richly with a beautiful family and an abundance of friends. I enjoy wide open spaces and being outside. Some of my self care practices include swimming, waterskiing, running, dancing with my husband, time with our horses, massage, and a good cup of coffee in the morning.
